Bursa Regional State Symphony Orchestra has been opening the International Bursa Festival (IBF) since 2000, after the orchestra was handed over to The Ministry of Culture Tourism from Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Uludağ University on 4 December 1999.

In 2016, BBRSO took stage with world renowned group, Klazz Brothers & Cuba Percussion for the 55th of IBF.
